Call For Proposals To Become a "Bluprint Community"
The Blueprint Communities Delaware program is pleased to announce that it is inviting communities within the state to apply to become a “Blueprint Community.” The program intends to add three or more new communities to the existing program. Those selected will have planning teams that receive training and a range of other services that build their capacity to plan and carry out community revitalization activities.
The Blueprint Communities Delaware Program is a joint initiative of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, the University of Delaware Center for Community Research & Service, and the Jessie Ball duPont Fund. The program has had a major impact on nine Delaware communities since 2008 and is gaining momentum. Visit the Blueprint Communities webpage for more information on current Blueprint Communities and their accomplishments to date.
If you're commited to revitalizing your community, and want to encourage like-minded people to work with you for this purpose, we invite you to apply. To gain more information about the program, please consider attending one of two information sessions scheduled for October 4th. See the RFP to gain more information about the sessions as well as complete details about the application process.
